Jasmeen’s Love Story
My husband and I met over 7 years ago through friends, and it definitely felt like fate. We were both the youngest of four children and loved all of the same things. All we wanted to do was spend with each other. As the years went on our bond grew stronger and we knew this was going to be a forever kind of love. On our 6th year together Steven proposed on a Carnival cruise ship to Cozumel, Mexico during a photo shoot.
Our entire relationship so far has felt like a fairytale, and the wedding was no different. A year after being engaged we planned an intimate wedding with all of our family and closest friends at Casa Bella Estate in Odessa, Florida. The theme was Arabian Nights and the colors were teal, gold and plum. It was the perfect wedding to begin our happily ever after.
Jasmeen’s Name Change Narrative
It was always decided that I would take my husband’s name. It was something we talked about way before we even got engaged. I was attached to my last name, but not in a way that I couldn’t let go. I knew the process would be long and could be frustrating but I was willing to sacrifice.
The best part of changing my last name is forever being linked to not only my amazing husband, but his amazing family. I’m proud to have the Sosa name and hopefully help carry on the name for years to come when we have children. It always makes me smile when my co-workers or friends call me “Mrs. Sosa.”
The hardest part of changing my name was honestly just figuring out what the first step was going to be. I did a lot of research and found the MissNowMrs website.
